From the looks of this infographic, we can establish multiple facts. For example, in Q4 of 2013, tablets made a significant rise up to where they peeked at a total device access of 44.54 Million individuals accessing tablets in Q3 of 2017.
Games consoles have made a slow overall decrease in device access from Q1 of 2010 - now Of from 27.13 million devices to a total of 24.95 million. This could be because of the potential realisation that PC's are able to run games at a much faster and higher quality and therefore are on the rise in comparison to consoles which are at a fall
HD TV Has made a significant rise since Q1 of 2010 of 7.13 million to a whopping 47.53 at peak in Q4 of 2018 however currently sits at 47.08 million. This could be because of the massive rise of Channels available to consumers to be able to watch as well as programmes.
There is 20% more men live streaming on their PC and Tablets compared to women streaming and viewing on pc and tablet. This shows which predominantly target of people watch the show being live streamed and can allow a business to analyse what they need to change to appeal to an audience which is wider.
Predominantly more people aged 55+ using live streaming softwares such as PC and Tablet, we can see this clerkly from the Infographic showing that although there are a significant people of 30% of 55+ year olds using demand we can overall see that there is about an increase of 10% of people who are of age 55+ watching live rather than on-demand. This could be as due to people being of elderly age they don't have as much activities to do therefore look forward to the events like this. This then means that people aged 55+ Are targeted at a more wider pace compared to younger people who however are still greatly looked out for.
Uses and Gratifications theory
Long tail theory:
The long tail theory suggests that, as the internet makes distribution easier - and uses reccomendation systems that allows consumers to become aware of more obscure products. Demand will shift from the most popular products at the 'head' of a demand curve - as charted on an xy axis to the aggregate.

To summarise, It allows businesses to identify profit by selling low volumes of hard to find items.

Your analysis of the first infographic is great - lots of detail; the second infographic is rather lacking, though - especially when it comes to explanation. Try to be more specific with numbers - what percentage of 55+ live stream, for example? And then try to explain why.

Notes of target audiences are fine.
ReplyDeleteIve changed my analysis of my second infographic. As well as this I then explained why there is 55+ elders watching so much in comparison to others.
