Q Magazine front page
Fonts - very similar fonts styles however still different. 3-4 styles of font.
Colour scheme - Blue red white grey his clothing matches the background and colour scheme
Slogan - "The worlds greatest music magazine"
Cover lines, Bylines & Feature articles. - The big font style looks like a signature in the front cover. (Its like your getting your own signed copy of Q magazine)
Mid shot / close ups typically used within main images. First thing the consumer looks at. The guitar is also really recognisable and famous.
Z pattern is where the cover lines work around the main image to create a z like form.

Publisher located with the bar code as well as the website
Skyline - to inform people about contents and dates.
Magazine double page spread
Title - Takes up half the first page, placed next to the main image on the left side
Size -
Lead - Beginning of the article / story generally contains who, what, when, where and why.
Use of columns / Alignment - allows for a structure within the DPS and creates understanding of the structure.
Images used - what/who? What are they wearing? facial expression? What are they doing? How does the mage relate to the article. She is showing off her ring on her hand.
Image details - Has credit been given to the model / photographer? Why? - The photographers name might make people more interested in the photo as they could be good artists.
Pull Quote / messages - Makes us want to read on and read more of the article the quote is from.
Colour scheme - Follows a stereotypical scheme of colours
Text - San Serif

Date/page number - So your aware of where the page is and how far your in. Also in the front cover on the pull quote it will say what page it is on.
Body copy - The main text.
